Alumni Program Details
Four Pillars of Connection

Our Alumni Program is built around four pillars that keep you connected, supported, and thriving long after graduation. Because recovery is a lifelong journey — and you don’t have to walk it alone.

Pillar One

Alumni Community

When you graduate from Trailhead, you join a growing network of people who understand exactly what you’ve been through. Our private Facebook group keeps alumni connected between events, sharing milestones, encouragement, and real-time support. Monthly in-person gatherings, recovery walks, sober outings, and milestone celebrations make sure you always have a place to belong.

This isn’t a mailing list — it’s a living, breathing community of people committed to each other’s long-term sobriety.

Ongoing Support

Recovery doesn’t follow a straight line. Our alumni have access to monthly Zoom family support groups, peer mentorship from alumni who’ve been in long-term recovery, and case management check-ins for anyone navigating a tough season. If you or a loved one is struggling, our crisis support line connects you back to our clinical team immediately.

You never have to figure it out alone. The safety net you built in treatment stays with you — for life.

Events & Activities

Sober fun is a cornerstone of lasting recovery. Our alumni calendar features monthly community gatherings, seasonal celebrations, guest speaker nights, and family-friendly events that prove life in recovery is anything but boring. From cookouts and bowling nights to hiking excursions and holiday parties, there’s always something on the calendar.

Family members are welcome at many of our events — because recovery strengthens the whole family, not just the individual.

How Alumni Stays Connected
Four Phases of Connection
Phase One

Graduation & Welcome

On your last day of treatment, we don’t just hand you a certificate — we welcome you into the alumni family. You’ll receive an invitation to the private Facebook group, a calendar of upcoming events, and an introduction to the alumni coordinator. There’s no gap between treatment and community. The transition is seamless because we designed it that way.

Phase Two

Monthly Events & Connection

Within your first month as an alumni, you’ll attend your first community event. Whether it’s a cookout at the facility, a recovery walk, a bowling outing, or a guest speaker night, these gatherings are the heartbeat of the program. You’ll reconnect with people from your cohort, meet alumni from other classes, and start building the sober social network that will anchor your long-term recovery.

Family members are welcome at many events — because the people who love you are part of your recovery story too.

Phase Three

Peer Mentorship & Giving Back

As your recovery strengthens, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor newer graduates. Sharing your experience, showing up for someone in their first weeks after treatment, and passing along what was freely given to you — this is where recovery deepens. Our peer mentorship program pairs experienced alumni with recent graduates, creating accountability and purpose on both sides.

Phase Four

Ongoing Support & Growth

Whether you graduated last month or three years ago, the alumni community is always here. Monthly Zoom family groups continue indefinitely. The Facebook group stays active with daily encouragement and milestone celebrations. And if life gets hard — if you hit a rough patch or need to talk — our clinical team is a phone call away. Recovery is a lifelong practice, and Trailhead walks beside you for the entire journey.
