Everything You Need to Know

About the Program

Our Outpatient Program is the lightest clinical level in our continuum of care. It provides once-per-week individual and group therapy sessions for clients in stable recovery who benefit from ongoing professional support and accountability.

IOP (Intensive Outpatient) meets 3-4 days per week for 3-3.5 hours per session. OP (Outpatient) meets once per week and includes an individual therapy session plus a group therapy session. OP is designed as a step-down from IOP for clients who have progressed in their recovery.

Outpatient sessions are scheduled once per week. Each week includes dedicated time with your individual therapist and a group therapy session with your peers.

Outpatient is ongoing — there is no fixed end date. Your clinical team collaborates with you to determine when you're ready to transition to alumni-level support based on your progress and stability.

Absolutely. Outpatient is specifically designed for people maintaining full-time work, school, or family responsibilities. With only one session per week, there is minimal disruption to your daily schedule.

Getting Started

Each week includes an individual therapy session focused on your personalized treatment goals, relapse prevention, and ongoing progress — plus a group therapy session for peer support, accountability, and shared learning.

Yes. Research consistently shows that ongoing therapeutic contact significantly reduces relapse rates. Outpatient provides the professional accountability and peer support that sustain recovery after completing more intensive treatment levels.

Most outpatient clients step down from our IOP program, but it is not always required. Your clinical team will assess your needs and determine the appropriate level of care during your initial evaluation.

Most major insurance plans cover outpatient treatment. We're in-network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Point 32 (Harvard Pilgrim + Tufts), Tricare, Uprise Health, and WellSense NH Medicaid. We verify coverage within minutes — call us for a free check.

When your clinical team determines you're ready, you'll transition to our alumni program for ongoing community connection and fellowship. We also coordinate external provider referrals and community support groups to ensure your long-term success.
