Access every level of outpatient care — PHP, IOP, and OP — from the comfort of your home through our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Serving New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Trailhead Treatment Center is Licensed & Accredited with HIPAA-Compliant Telehealth and committed to Dual NH & MA Licensing with accreditation in progress through JCAHO.
"I never thought I could get real treatment from home. Trailhead's telehealth program gave me the same quality care I'd expect in person — the groups, the therapy, everything. It saved my recovery."
"As a working parent, getting to a facility every day was impossible. Telehealth let me get the intensive help I needed without missing work or time with my kids."
"The virtual sessions felt just as personal and connected as being there. My therapist and group made me feel like I was in the room with them."
Trailhead's telehealth platform delivers the full continuum of outpatient treatment — Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and standard Outpatient (OP) — through secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions. Whether you need full-day structure or flexible evening support, every program level is accessible from your home.
PHP telehealth runs the same 9 AM to 3:30 PM schedule as in-person. IOP offers morning, afternoon, or evening tracks. Outpatient provides weekly individual and group sessions. The clinical content, therapeutic depth, and personalized treatment planning are identical to our on-site programs — only the delivery changes.
All telehealth sessions are conducted over a secure, encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Your privacy is protected at every level — from the initial assessment through graduation. No consumer video apps, no shortcuts. Enterprise-grade security ensures your treatment conversations remain completely confidential.
You'll need a stable internet connection, a private space, and a device with a camera and microphone — laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Our tech support team helps you get set up before your first session so technology never becomes a barrier to treatment.
Telehealth clients receive the same evidence-based programming as in-person participants: individual therapy with CBT, daily skills groups in DBT, ACT, and relapse prevention, psychoeducation, medication management with our Nurse Practitioner, and weekly individual sessions with a licensed clinician.
Group therapy, family sessions (individual and monthly Zoom support groups), motivational exercises, and collaborative goal setting are all delivered virtually. Your treatment plan is fully personalized — 12-Step, SMART Recovery, Dharma Recovery, or a custom blend based on your preferences.
Telehealth is ideal for clients who live in remote areas of New Hampshire or Massachusetts without convenient access to our Salem facility, those with transportation barriers, professionals who cannot take time away from work, parents with caregiving responsibilities, or anyone who prefers the comfort and privacy of receiving treatment at home.
It's also a strong option for clients transitioning from in-person care who want to maintain continuity with their clinical team, or those with mobility limitations or health conditions that make daily travel difficult. If you can access a private space with internet, telehealth works for you.

Your virtual day begins with a group check-in — share how you're feeling, set intentions for the day, and connect with peers. Your clinician takes attendance and reviews the day's schedule. It's the same grounding start as in-person, delivered through secure video.
Your journey begins with a secure video assessment. Our clinical team evaluates your needs, verifies insurance, and builds a personalized treatment plan — all from the comfort of your home. Within 24 hours of enrollment, you'll meet virtually with our Nurse Practitioner for medication evaluation.
Our tech team walks you through the video platform, tests your connection, and ensures everything works before your first session. You'll receive your schedule, meet your therapist via video, and begin treatment within 24-48 hours of your first call.
Daily groups, individual therapy, medication management, and family sessions — all delivered through secure video. You build skills in DBT, CBT, and ACT alongside peers in real-time. The virtual format creates the same therapeutic depth and connection as in-person care.
As you progress, your team coordinates step-down to a lower level of virtual or in-person care. You're connected with external providers, enrolled in our alumni program, and given a continuing care plan that ensures support never ends — even after graduation.
