Your outpatient journey begins with a clinical assessment to establish your current needs and recovery goals. If stepping down from IOP, your treatment plan transitions seamlessly. Medication management is reviewed with our NP as needed.
The core of outpatient. Weekly individual and group therapy sessions continue building your recovery skills. You'll work with your therapist on relapse prevention, coping strategies, and integrating healthy patterns into daily routines.
As you stabilize, the focus shifts to applying recovery skills independently. Your therapist helps you navigate real-world challenges — returning to work, rebuilding relationships, managing stress — with professional support just a session away.

There's no fixed end date. Outpatient continues as long as it's clinically beneficial. Some clients attend for a few months after IOP, while others maintain weekly sessions for longer. Your recovery timeline is yours.
In most cases, outpatient is a step-down from IOP. However, direct enrollment may be appropriate for some clients. Your clinical assessment will determine the right level of care for your situation.
Each week includes individual therapy with your assigned clinician and a group therapy session with peers in similar recovery stages. Sessions focus on relapse prevention, skill building, and addressing real-life challenges.

Absolutely. Virtual sessions are available for both individual and group therapy. Many outpatient clients prefer the convenience of telehealth, especially when balancing work and family.
IOP is more intensive — 3.5-hour sessions multiple times per week. Outpatient is once per week with a lighter clinical commitment. OP is designed for clients who've stabilized and need ongoing support without the intensity of IOP.
Yes. Our Nurse Practitioner is available for medication check-ins as needed. If you're on MAT or other medications, your prescriptions and dosages continue to be monitored.
Yes. Monthly family support groups via Zoom remain available throughout your outpatient treatment and beyond. Individual family therapy can also be arranged through your clinician.
If your clinical team determines you need more intensive care, stepping back up to IOP is always an option. We adjust your level of care based on your needs — there's no stigma in getting more support.
